Insurance
Subject to the terms and conditions of the Rental Agreement, damage liabilities applies to all rentals and include the following.
Registration Recovery fees
We are one of the few car rental companies in Queensland that does not charge a daily registration recovery fees on top of your hire. They are usually $4~$6 daily.
Damage Liability/Cover
Subject to the terms and conditions of the Rental Agreement, damage liabilities applies to all rentals and includes the following:
Sedans and Soft tops
$3000 Damage/Loss Liability. Liability Reduction Waiver (LRW) available to reduce multi-vehicle liability to a nominal $200 (drivers 21-24 to $500).
Cairns: Damage/Loss Liability and Liability Reduction Waiver (LRW) is to $300 (drivers 21-24 @ $800).
Taragos and VW Beetles
$3500 Damage/Loss Liability. Liability Reduction Waiver (LRW) available to reduce multi-vehicle liability to a nominal $500 (drivers 21-24 to $800).
Cairns: Damage / Loss Liability and Liability Reduction Waiver (LRW) differ.
Please note : Single vehicle accidents/incidents cancel out Liability Reduction Waiver (L.R.W). Full Liability is preauthorized on Credit Card on arrival if the LRW package is declined.
Airport Transfers

Please allow ample time for our shuttle to collect you. This service is free for flights arriving between 7am and 5pm. Our offices are located 5 mins away. Please note that after these hours, arrivals are required to take a Liability Reduction Waver.
On departure:
Domestic - Please have car returned to our office 90 minutes before your departing flight. International - Please have car returned to our office 150 minutes before your departing flight. Our shuttle runs 7.30am to 5pm, 7 days. Vehicles can be returned after hours at the Airport and the keys left in our return box for a nominal parking fee. Rental duration will be until the following morning for after hours drop offs.
Rental Duration
1 rental day is 24 hours from commencement of the rental. Extra hours are charged at 1/5th of the daily rate up to 5 hours full daily rate applies. Any intention of late returns must be made known to our office. We do not refund for early returns. Damage/Loss cover will cease on the return time and date on your Rental Agreement. Liability of the vehicle will cease when the car has been physically checked in by our staff at the nominated return depot.
Rates
In Australian Dollars ($A). Include Damage Liability,GST (Government Sales Tax -10%) . Kilometers as indicated on rates page. Unlimited kilometers available. Rates do not include fuel or After hrs pick up and drop off service. Smiles are free!
Stamp Duty and Administration fee
A standard 4.95% is applied for these charges.
Payment
Payment is made in full on arrival, unless pre-paid with any of our Agents. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Bank Card, Cash, Eftpos and Travellers Cheques. Cash Bonds or holding deposits are acceptable on a pre-arranged basis. A signed Authorized imprint of your Credit Card is required during hire and will be destroyed upon completion of the hire. CREDIT CARD HOLDER MUST BE PRESENT ON ARRIVAL.
Area of Use
GOLD COAST and brisbane RENTAL Vehicles to be driven within NOOSA – brisbane – GOLD COAST – BYRON BAY Areas.
CAIRNS RENTAL Vehicles to be driven within DAINTREE – CAIRNS – INNISFAIL areas.
One Way Rentals brisbane – CAIRNS for use on COASTAL ROUTE ONLY. Subject to a minimum rental.
Extended area of use available, but must be stated and approved before commencement of hire and subject to individual quotation. rentals@qldnet.com.au
Drivers
Must hold a current license. International and Overseas license are welcome. Rates shown are for drivers between 25 and 80 years of age. Drivers between 21 and 24 years old incur an additional charge of $8.80 per day. P-plate licences are not acceptable.
Roadside Assistance
24 hour roadside assistance with RACQ is included with all rentals. Please note that a human error call out will incur a $44 service fee. For example, keys locked in car, out of fuel or lights left on and battery becoming flat.
Fuel
We ask all customers to return fuel to original starting level at commencement of rental. We do not have a fuel pump on site and we do not charge huge amounts to refill tanks!
Relocation
Subject to minimum rental, a relocation charge will apply in most rentals.
Street Directories
We provide a complementary street directory with all vehicles.
Non-return will incur a $40 replacement fee.
Baby and Booster Seats
Baby and Booster seats are available @ $3 per day each. It is advisable to book during the busy months.
Holiday Hire

Traffic Infringements
Are the responsibility of the hirer. Infringements processed by this company will incur a $110 ADMINISTRATION FEE. All fines can and will be traced back to the hirer.

Cancellation Policy
- More than 7 days - $25 Cancellation fee
- Within 7 days of hire - $50 Cancellation fee
- Less than 24 hours - 3 days hire
- No Show - Up to full cost of rental
